This past weekend we took a trip into Calgary and went to Prince’s Island Park. This is one of our favorite spots, right on the edge of down town along the river. And on the way back from our walk we stopped at the Old Spaghetti factory…Jakob’s favorite! It was a beautiful day.
Wow! Beautiful with all the snow! That little man of your keeps growing! Thanks for letting us see him and “feel” a part of his life though we are so far away! Our love to you!

Prince’s Island is a beautiful place to spend time and enjoy! Must be soooo much fun walking around there with Jakob! Thanks so much for sharing with us! Luv ya!

Gosh…thot I left a message here and was just checking back to see if there was anything new. Did not see a comment from so….grin. This is a great little family trip you had here. You have such a handsome little man. I have sooo many fond memories of Prince’s Island. Wonderful place. Aunti Christine and I lived not far away and we used to go there all the time when we lived in Sunnyside. Then too…..Aman and I lived downtown when we first met and as we were poor students, we spent a lot of time at Princes Island, on walks, taking pictures and all the free events we could partake in. Then we would walk over to Kensington and with our saved pennies and dimes (you know a student’s life) we would buy a coffee before heading home.

He is so cute! How old is he now? Anna loves spaghetti too. Actually, she likes anything long and stringy.
