Hey Krista!
I saw your blog on Lolas when I was clicking on her links.I love your family picture-who took it?
Anyway, from experience of having 3 kids go thru the 18 month "seperation/assert myself/independent yet dont go out of my sight or I will cry stage" ....It will pass eventually(Marcus started at 17 months and he has his moments now but its setted a bit for now) but its very common and somewhat predictable.....for some it esculates at two (thus the terrible twos) But I found it went away (Two was cute- althought the fits were there!)Then at 3 and a half to 4 was always hard in a more prominant way. Each stage has its moments .They are just getting their personality-its just our job to direct a bit and protect. Its nice to know every one goes thru it.For example -Most moms that have a kid Juliannas age are finding a general attitude of sauciness (like a teenager)-which is totally her at times. Its nice to know they are pretty standard normal phases at every stage and it all depends on how you choose to deal with them but regardless its wearing for all moms .The best thing I found was to talk to fellow mothers who are going thru the same stages for advice ,support ect.It makes me have more sympathy ,patience, and stamina because I have an endless support of non judjemental wisdom and support in the daily seemingly small aspects of my life.
Good luck and enjoy!

Oh yes...I am glad to know that Ben is there now full time. And boy....you must be tired all preggos and then having a little one too. Yep, kids know when change is coming for sure! Keep well all of you and enjoy a bit of 'normalcy' while you still can. Love and kisses!

So glad to hear that Ben has a full-time position with the Arts Academy! Wonderful! No doubt you are looking forward to your maternity leave and spending more time with that precious little Jakob! I can just hear him say that "okey dokey" as I think he must have learned that from his grammy Ewert! Ha! Love to all!
